 La Santa Granada de Antioquía (Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch) ha alcanzado fama más allá de la película que hoy nos ocupa. Inspirada en el Orbe del Soberano, al que parodia, la Santa Granada no sólo ha sido convertida en un peluche, sino que por su potencial destructivo ha llegado a  aparecer en numerosos videojuegos, donde ha sido utilizada como arma ofensiva. Entre estos, tenemos Fallout 2, Terraria o la saga Worms. El 19 de marzo de 2009 cundió el pánico en Finsbury, Londres, cuando un empleado de la compañía del agua encontró un objeto sospechoso que creyó que era una bomba. Los edificios cercanos fueron evacuados, y un buen puñado de policías y bomberos se pusieron en acción, sólo para descubrir que la «bomba» no era sino una réplica de la famosa Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch de los Python.
